From The Editor

Time sure flies! It has been six months since the inception of our newsletter – Ripples: spreading the change. With your continuing support, we bring you more news from the Puttenahalli Lake in this second edition.

The first edition was released by none other than Smt. Sudha Ragunathan, who not only inaugurated the PNLIT newsletter, but also took a morning walk around the lake. She appreciated our efforts and lauded the PNLIT team for the maintenance of the lake through the year. She was so happy that she even wrote an ode to the lake.

In this edition, we would like to touch upon the one thing many of us don’t understand (or don’t like doing) – maintenance (and the work that goes behind the scenes). Maintenance is what keeps the lake alive and thus the surrounding ecosystem. Timely maintenance by our gardeners and help from our benefactors has not only kept the lake alive but thriving as well. Kudos to all these people!
We would love to keep spreading the change with others as well. We have different opportunities through the year, where your presence is much appreciated.
